Conceived over a dinner with some friends, the roots of Trufashions go back to the days when its owner, Trupti, shopped for jewelry, dresses and sarees for friends while visiting India every couple of years. Because of her special taste and fashion sense, all her well wishers urged her to start a fashion boutique here in Westchester, which lacked a decent source for their fashion needs.

So it started in April 2005 with a gala opening that saw hundreds of visitors. Word spread very quickly to the residents of Rockland and Putnam counties, Connecticut and New Jersey, who have since been traveling to this conveniently located showroom. Our visitors are our “guests” and are treated as such. There is never an obligation to purchase. The idea is to welcome and spend some time with our guests and make them feel at home. We are confident that not only will you love our hospitality but also our collection of merchandise carefully selected during our frequent trips to Bombay, Pune, Gujarat, Banaras Calcutta and Jaipur, to name a few. Material purchased from these cities is designed and tailored to Trupti’s tastes in Pune and/or Bombay. Custom design and tailoring is also an option available to our customers. All these at very reasonable prices compared tomany of the other retailers you find in the Tri-State area.
